On the Roof of McMoons
Ever been on the rooftop of a McDonalds? How about a McDonalds at a NASA naval air base, surrounded by a blimp hangar, a landing strip, and the Santa Cruz Mountains? Well, this was my first time. The take-home point: don't strap your tripod to your GigaPan field backpack and then attempt to climb up a narrow metal ladder surrounded by overhanging trees. There are better ways to go.
