All that remains of Forbes Field is the center field section in Oakland. Each year, on October 13, a crowd gathers to hear an audio broadcast of Game 7 of the 1960 World Series. The game never disappoints because it always ends with Bill Mazeroski hitting a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the series for the 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates. Everyone cheers and returns to this sacred spot the following year. It's an annual Pittsburgh tradition.
