The photo was taken from near the intersection of Stevenson Street and the Boulevard of the Allies -- that's on Duquesne University's campus.The view is across the Boulevard and the Mon river towards what I believe would have been the J&L Steel works.I took this picture from my dorm window with my first SLR -- a heavy, noisy old Konica that had belonged to my dad. I was enthralled and mystified by the camera, and by the city I was just beginning to get acquainted with.
