It was the day before Super Bowl XIII in Miami. We heard that the Steelers were staying at the Marriott and that Steeler fans were gathering in the lobby. As I pulled into the parking lot I noticed Myron Cope...alone...parking next to me. I asked him to have his picture taken with me. He was gracious and agreed. Years later I had him sign the photo. He wrote, "Yoi! To Mike, Myron Cope." It is one of my treasures from that period. The Steelers beat the Dallas Cowboys the next day 35-31...to win their third Super Bowl title.
