My son is in his ninth grade civics class at Mt. Lebanon High School in 2004. He tells his teacher, Bill Lewis, that he is going to "meet" the President of the United States later that day. Mr. Lewis issues a challenge: Give the president a copy of a pocket constitution and get a second copy signed for extra credit. My son is seen holding the pocket constitution as the president is talking to my wife. It's very crowded. As my son hands the constitution to the president, he tells him that he'll get extra credit if the president signs it. He does. The president then says, "Tell him he better give you an A." The rest is history.
