I took this photo just moments after The University of Pittsburgh Panther football team won the 1977 Sugar Bowl game. Pitt defeated Georgia to win the national championship. Moments later I was on the field to cheer and congratulate the Pitt players. It was a great moment in Pitt history and a day I will never forget. We spent the rest of the day celebrating in the French Quarter.
