My son Ethan, age 6, in February of 2012. We live on a private road in a wooded area, where we often see deer and wild turkeys roaming around. This was taken during one of our many walks. This is from the first roll of film that I shot using a vintage Asahi Pentax K1000 that I picked up at an estate sale. I had pretty good light for this shot, but the rest of the roll was sort of a bust. It's a definite departure from digital photography and infinite snaps. With 24 shots per roll, and no preview (except for the viewfinder), it makes you think longer about each picture.
