The 4:15 from Tully (tickety-tacketa-tickety-tacketa)
Contrast (bold colours of shoes and stockings against the dreary and grim background). Compelling, yet not disturbing initially --which in turn renders the image all the more disturbing. Composition -- despite bright colours in the bottom left, eye is drawn along the train tracks to the vanishing point just left of center near the top of the frame.
