Murat Tanyel
I am an engineering professor living in New Castle, PA. I teach electrical engineering at Geneva College. I am married to a wonderful woman who, on top of managing the household, practices family medicine in New Wilmington, PA. We have three children: two boys (b. 2000 & 2006) and a girl (b. 2001). I grew up in Turkey and came to the States for graduate work in 1982 and have lived in the U.S. since. I have never had formal training in photography but have been taking pictures ever since my dad, after setting for correct exposure and focus himself, allowed me to press the shutter of his camera before I even started school. I have discovered these photographic sites rather late in life, but I am enjoying my time spent on them.
