Oh how I miss Hartwood Celebration of Lights at Hartwood Acres Park! We used to take our children to the Christmas light display. We'd always pack a bunch of snacks and drinks for the long car wait. We'd turn on the radio, listen to Christmas carols, sing some songs but not for long! I can't sing and my kids would beg me to stop! After we drove through the display, we'd sometimes go to a restaurant on the way home. Hartwood Celebration of lights was held from 1991 to 2011. I'm glad I took a few pictures because we didn't realize the display would end up being closed. It certainly raised a nice amount of money for Project Bundle Up and the Salvation Army.
