One of the sad things in the Pittsburgh Region is the deterioration of some neighborhoods. The photograph I took of this abandoned house is one in a number of deteriorating properties located in the same area. The reason I didn't name the exact location is because there are different towns in the Mon Valley that are suffering the same plight. Organizations, city officials and citizens continue to work on the situation. In time, I hope all the once thriving steel towns can find solutions and be revitalized.
