One of the sad problems in the Pittsburgh Region is the deterioration of some neighborhoods. The photograph I took of these abandoned houses next to each other are among a number of deteriorating properties. The reason I didn't name the exact location is because there are different towns in the Mon Valley that are suffering the same plight. Organizations, city officials and citizens continue to work on the situation and I hope solutions are found for the once thriving steel towns.
