A Christmas tree in mid-January? Not exactly. The Terrible Tree was the creation of county employee, Kathy Colosimo, to promote Steeler rallies during the playoffs. Instead of Christmas decorations, why not decorate it with Steeler articles? The tree did not come down until the Steelers won the Super Bowl. It worked in 2006 as well.
