I attended most of the Steeler home games in the 1970s. I never took my camera to a game in that decade. In the first week of the 80s the Steelers were in the AFC Championship game with the winner going to the Super Bowl in Pasadena. I ended up buying one ticket for $50 in the first row behind the Steeler bench. I took my camera because I didn't have a smart phone; in fact, smart phones did not exist at that time. The night before the game I was at the Boulevard Lounge in Brookline. Most people told me that I had a terrible seat and I wouldn't be able to see anything. They were wrong.
