All geeked up and ready for some Pitt football. The Pitt Panthers football team was playing for the national championship in the Sugar Bowl. We celebrated New Year's the night before with a group of Pitt fans. This photo was taken in front of the Maison Dupuy Hotel in the French Quarter as we were waiting for the bus to take us to the game that morning. It was an extraordinary experience for a 27 year old from Brookline. Pitt beat Georgia 27-3. I still have the buttons and tee shirt from that day. Hail to Pitt!
