While there is certainly a difference between how we approach photography (or visual information in general) now vs. in print, I am probably too young to appreciate it- and I don't share the anxiety that exists about this transition. Especially when photography is used as a means of personal expression, using film or digital (or printing the work vs. displaying it online) becomes another choice that an artist must make- it makes the medium more flexible.
