a conversational response to the photo by me and my 14year old daughter -14yo- "Is this my good side?" me - "Really Marilyn?!?" 14yo-"I'm all ready then, if you say so" Exactly what I figured she would say, since this is a conversation we have had multiple times! This image speaks a lot to the body image dilemma I am facing raising two daughters in a world where an idea of beauty is captured by so many lenses and reproduced in moments for every follower to see.
